A universal emotion. Tears of joy and laughter, tears of sadness, pain and fear; tears are a gift from God so that we can express and let go of all the different emotions that fill each one of us.

You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry.
Jesus wept while feeling our pain. He was made flesh and dwelled among us and experienced our suffering. We should not forget what He endured for each one of us as He died for our sins on the cross. He hears our cries.
